Disclaimer
FMLAReady is a software tool that helps human-resources professionals draft FMLA correspondence, estimate eligibility, and track leave. It is not a law firm, and using it does not create an attorney‑client relationship.
Not legal advice
The letters, notices, eligibility estimates, deadline calculations, and other output FMLAReady produces are informational drafts and working aids only. They are not legal advice and are not a substitute for the judgment of a qualified attorney or your organization’s own compliance review. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying every document before you send it or rely on it.
Eligibility estimates are not determinations
Any eligibility indication the tool displays — for example, “likely meets thresholds,” “near threshold,” or “may fall short” — is an estimate based only on the start date and average weekly hours you enter. It is not an FMLA eligibility determination. Actual eligibility depends on facts the tool does not evaluate and must be confirmed through your organization’s standard process.
Federal scope only
FMLAReady is built around the federal Family and Medical Leave Act and its regulations at 29 CFR Part 825. It does not account for state or local leave laws, collective bargaining agreements, employer policies, or other obligations that may apply to a given employee. Those may impose additional or different requirements.
Your inputs, your responsibility
The accuracy of any output depends entirely on the accuracy of the information you enter. FMLAReady does not independently verify dates, hours, certifications, or any other data you provide.
No warranty
FMLA regulations and agency guidance change over time, and the law is applied to specific facts. FMLAReady is provided “as is,” without any warranty that its output is accurate, complete, current, or suitable for a particular situation.
Limitation
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FMLAREADY LLC is not liable for any decision made, or action taken or not taken, in reliance on the tool or its output.
