Terms of Service
These Terms govern your access to and use of FMLAReady (the “Service”), provided by FMLAREADY LLC, a Michigan limited liability company (“we,” “us”). By purchasing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
FMLAReady is a browser‑based tool for drafting FMLA correspondence, estimating eligibility, and tracking leave. It runs entirely in your web browser. The case information you enter is stored locally in your browser and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers. See our Privacy Policy.
2. License
Your purchase grants you a personal, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to use the Service for your own and your employer’s internal FMLA‑administration purposes. You receive a license key that unlocks the Service. You may not resell, sublicense, share, or redistribute the Service or your license key, and you may not copy, decompile, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from it, except to the extent the law permits.
3. One‑time purchase
The Service is offered for a one‑time fee. Your license does not automatically renew and is not a subscription. We may offer paid updates or new versions in the future.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service lawfully and only for legitimate FMLA‑administration purposes. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for complying with all applicable laws — including privacy and employment laws — when handling employee information.
5. Not legal advice
The Service produces drafts and working aids, not legal advice, and using it does not create an attorney‑client relationship. See our Disclaimer.
6. No warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non‑infringement.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FMLAREADY LLC and its members will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for it.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict‑of‑laws rules.
