What this helps with

Keep deadline steps visible

Track the notice, certification, cure, designation, and recertification steps that can get buried in inboxes, spreadsheets, and calendar reminders.

Document the file clearly

Use practical file-note prompts to record what HR knew, when HR learned it, what was sent, and what follow-up happened.

Bridge to FMLAReady

The toolkit is the printable version. FMLAReady is the browser workflow version when you want the same structure inside a live case tool.

Why this exists

FMLAReady was built from hands-on leave-administration experience by a PHR-certified leave specialist. The goal is not to replace counsel or employer judgment; it is to give small HR teams a clearer way to organize the federal FMLA steps that often get scattered across emails, spreadsheets, calendars, and letter templates.

FAQ

Is this legal advice?

No. It is a general federal FMLA workflow aid. Employers remain responsible for decisions, documentation, state/local leave obligations, policy review, and counsel review when needed.

How is this different from DOL forms plus Excel?

DOL forms and spreadsheets are useful, but they do not give you a single workflow packet for trigger review, certification timing, cure/deficiency follow-up, designation timing, recertification, intermittent review, and file notes.

How do I receive the PDF?

During launch, the paid toolkit is delivered by email to the address used at checkout so the PDF is not posted publicly on the website.

What if this is not what I need?

Email hello@fmlaready.com within 14 days of purchase for a refund.
